fa منطق شرطی نزد اثیر الدین ابهری و برخی معاصران Athir al-Dīn al-Abharī and some contemporaries on Conditional Logic <div style=text-align: justify;><span style=font-size:12px;><span style=font-family:IRANsharp;>اثیر الدین ابهری تنها منطق‌دان سینوی است که قیاس اقترانی شرطی را به طور کامل انکار می‌کند. او هم‌چنین نخستین منطق‌دان سینوی است که قاعده‌های عکس مستوی و عکس نقیض شرطی را نامطمئن دانسته و کنار می‌گذارد. در سال‌های 1968م. به بعد، هفت سده پس از ابهری، در منطق جدید نیز، دستگاه‌های استنتاجی تحت عنوان «منطق شرطی» پدید آمده است که قیاس شرطی و قاعده‌های عکس مستوی و عکس نقیض شرطی را انکار می‌کنند و کنار می‌گذارند. افزون بر شباهت‌های سلبی یاد شده، یک شباهت ایجابی میان ابهری و معاصران هست و آن اینکه هر دو گروه به قیاس استثنایی (وضع مقدم و رفع تالی) وفادارند. با بررسی و تجزیه و تحلیل دلایلی که این دو گروه بر انکار قیاس اقترانی شرطی می‌آورند، آشکار می‌شود که ریشۀ این انکارها به تفسیرهای تازه‌ای برمی‌گردد که ابهری و منطق‌دانان معاصر از شرطی لزومی ارائه کرده‌اند. از دیدگاه ابهری، شرطی لزومی کلی، «هرگاه مقدم آنگاه تالی»، به معنای این است که «در همۀ فرض‌هایی که ملازمۀ میان مقدم و تالی در آن فرض‌ها ممکن است، مقدم مستلزم تالی است». از دیدگاه نظریه‌پردازان منطق شرطی معاصر، گزارۀ شرطی «اگر مقدم آنگاه تالی» در زبان طبیعی در بسیاری از موارد به این معنی است که «با فرض ثابت بودن دیگر چیزها، مقدم مستلزم تالی است» یعنی «در فرض‌هایی که همه چیز مانند جهان واقعی است جز اینکه مقدم صادق شده است، تالی صادق است». تفسیر ابهری هرچند با تفسیر معاصران در پاره‌ای موارد متفاوت است در این نکته مشترک است که هر دو تفسیر، افزون بر فرض مقدم، اموری را فرض می‌گیرند که به نوعی به مقدم وابستگی دارد و این ریشۀ مشترک در انکار قیاس شرطی نزد هر دو گروه است.</span></span></div> <div style=text-align: justify;>Athir al-Dīn al-Abharī was the only Avicennan logician who denied the validity of conditional syllogism. He was also the first who doubted in the validity of conversion and contraposition of conditionals and dispensed with them. In the contemporary era, after 1968, some logical consequence systems have evolved under the title ‘Conditional Logic’, which rejected the validity of the same rules. A similarity between al-Abharī’s system and these contemporary’s is in their commitment to Modus Ponens and Modus Tollens. Analyzing the reasons that the two groups provided for denying conditional syllogism reveals that their rejections were rooted in their novel interpretations of ‘strict conditional’. On al-Abjarī’s view, the strict conditional ‘whenever A then B’ means that ‘A implies B in all assumptions in which the implication between A and B is possible’. On the contemporary conditional logicians’ view, the conditional proposition ‘if A then B’ in natural languages means that ‘other things being equal, A implies B’.
